Here’s the technical lowdown. All of Cucumber’s patented wicking fabrics move moisture up and away from you at speed, and get you comfortably dry, fast. Your Cucumber clothing is softer, silkier and will last up to six times longer than cotton. The pretty colours have minimal fade and, best of all, the built-in new generation anti-microbial nano-technology of the fabric has superior odour and fibre degradation resistance. Laboratory results confirm that the anti-microbial properties remain strong after 50 or more machine washes. In trials, the bacterial kill rate after 50 washes was 99.9%.
Fits true to size.
Cucumber clothing not only looks great and feels great, it’s super easy to take care of in your washing machine, looking like new again each time it is washed.
Just make sure you don’t use fabric softeners as these will break down the special revolutionary moisture wicking performance of the fabric. Don’t tumble dry, the fabric dries so quickly, just hang dry, and it will be ready to wear in a jiffy. You can run a light cool iron or gentle steam to get out any creases if your shorts have been packed too long in a bag – but take it easy, your new shorts don’t like to get hot either.
Cucumber was born with the realisation that getting hot and sweaty is probably the last taboo.

Cucumber offer a #nosweat solution for any woman who gets hot
Perfect if you are perimenopausal, menopausal, on mediacation or receiving cancer treatment.
We’re proud to say that Cucumber is 100% British made and we source as much as possible within the UK and will continue to do so.
We look after our supply chain and that includes looking after our workers – we will only ever pay fair wages – and preserving our planet for the next generation.
We are constantly looking at ways of reducing our footprint, without compromising on the end product. We use minimal extras (we've decided to take out the one use piece of tissue paper normally used for packing) and we’re hoping to reduce the amount of plastic packaging we use to zero soon. We’re almost there.
